On death of the person, his/her organ can be removed legally with due consent from the next of kin of the donor. Organ donations can save lives of people in a great way and this is the reason that the initiative is being greatly encouraged worldwide.

Generally organ donation is used in transplantation of major organs in the body including the heart, lungs, kidneys, liver, cornea, intestine, bone marrow etc. Sometimes the expired person is not even registered for organ donation, but with wish of the next of kin, his organ can be donated for a noble cause.

There are many instances when a person is declared as brain dead and his organs can be used for saving life of another person successfully. Again in this video, it has been shown that a person who died in an accident had his heart transplanted to another woman, who now lives a healthy and happy life. The dead man’s daughter, who is about 12 years old, gets to hear her dad’s heartbeats by using a stethoscope on the chest of the woman, who received her father’s heart in transplantation. It is needless to say that the feeling was overwhelming and an unforgettable experience.
